Dr. Ruby Barkley
DDS
Dr. Ruby Barkley has lived in the Savannah area since 1987, graduating from Effingham County High School in 1994.
After graduating in 1998 from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dr. Ruby attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
About Dr. Ruby
Upon graduation in 2002, she furthered her dental education by completing a one year general practice residency. During this residency Dr. Ruby was trained in the surgical placement of dental implants, sedation dentistry and the treatment of medically compromised patients. She has also been a part time faculty member at The Dental College at Augusta University where she helped cover the Advanced Education in general dentistry and general practice residency clinic.
Dr. Ruby married Quinton Barkley in 2005. Quinton is also a graduate of Effingham County High School, Class of 1991. They have two children; a daughter Coley and a son JT.
In her recreational time, Dr. Ruby enjoys spending time with her family, attending local auctions, and going antiquing. She also loves taking trips to the mountains and participating in activities involving the outdoors and nature—especially bird watching!
